Fynbos Wood and Laser is a small business specialising nearly exclusively in one-of-a-kind items specific to the customer’s requirements. Customers are afforded the opportunity to offer their unique ideas, which will then be developed with them into executable products that are of solid design and structural integrity and amazing appearance.
The main focus is on hand crafted solid wood items. Use is made of local-, African- or, if needed, imported timbers. Restoration of antique- or more modern quality solid wood furniture pieces is undertaken, remanufacture of broken or damaged parts, with repairs and appearance matching to the original. Your furniture will not be subjected to harsh sanding that destroys the patina or result in damage to the old look appearance. Unfortunately, no upholstery work will be performed.
Laser engraving is complimentary and can be incorporated in many ways where justified, or it can be the main focus when used for photos or pictures, logos and text on all manner of materials for personalised or corporate gifts, or to compliment your home or entertainment area.
From time-to-time some standard items may be offered that require no or little customisation.
